Description Stalked sponge specimen in the DFO Quebec Region's Maurice Lamontagne Institute museum collection (no. 3004), previously recorded as Phakellia ventilabrum, now confirmed as Semisuberites cribrosa (see Dinn et al. 2020, https://doi.org/10.11646/zootaxa.4755.2.6). Sampled by MAPAQ at Grande-Rivière (Baie-des-Chaleurs, Station D51, at approximately lat. 48.35, lon. -64.46, 73 m depth), Québec, Canada, on 1960-10-15.
