Abstract
The AERONET stations in the 2 Seas region were analyzed to describe the aerosol optical properties. Two approaches were used: one provided by ADRINORD, which inverses the measurements to provide the relevant optical properties, and another available on the AERONET web server. The two sets are analyzed in order to provide a representative set of aerosol models, set to be used as auxiliary data in the atmospheric correction of satellite colour images.
