Big Shell Counting Day 2020 investigates effect of winter storms on composition shells Belgian beaches

Ostend (2020.02.24) - On Saturday 14 March 2020, the third Big Shell Counting Day is organised. This edition focuses on the effects of successive winter storms on the shell fauna. In ten coastal municipalities alond the Belgian sea side, eighty experts are ready to help participants in collecting, counting and recognizing the shells washed upon shore.
