Abstract
The project aims at the characterisation and manipulation of the microbial community in the larviculture of Japanese flounder. Flounder larvae are fed with Brachionus, a source of uncontrolled input of micro-organisms. The microbial community associated with Brachionus will be manipulated by supplying different feed in combination with probiotic mixtures. The effect thereof on larviculture of flounder will be investigated.
