Abstract
The effect of dirupting quorum sensing on the survival of Artemia nauplii will be investigated by means of quorum sensing mutant strains of known Artemia pathogens. Subsequently, several techniques that can disrupt quorum sensing will be evaluated in our model system with Artemia. Artemia franciscana was chosen as test organism since it can be cultured axenically.
