Abstract
The biodiversity and the composition of the nematode fauna associated with coral reefs and cold-waater corals, will be compared. Common taxa, especially those with a clear preference for coralligenic substrates, will be approached systematically-phylogenetically. This implies an external morphological examination, a microscopic analysis of important diagnostic structures and the use of molecular techniques to unravel the genetic relationships.
