Description
Census of Windmill Islands nesting sites for snow petrels, wilson storm petrels, cape petrel and skuas and 3 adelie penguin sites.
This dataset contains locations of bird nests, mostly snow petrels, mapped in the Windmill Islands during the 2002-2003 season. Location of nests were recorded with handheld GPS receivers connected to a pocket PC. more

Original data obtained from http://data.aad.gov.au/digir/DiGIR.php and registered into iOBIS on 2009-02-03. This dataset on OBIS-SEAMAP is a subset of marine mammal, seabird and/or sea turtle records from the dataset on iOBIS (Total number of records: 5056) harvested into OBIS-SEAMAP on 2011-10-11.
